Waterside Beach Provincial Park

Waterside Beach Provincial Park is a small provincial park in the community of Waterside, near the west end of Caribou Island.  It features a large sandy beach, several salt marshes, and warm waters  thanks to the Northumberland Strait.

Gully Head is located east of Waterside Beach Provincial Park, along the north side of Caribou Island, extending out into the Northumberland Strait.

Waterside is a rural area is located north of Three Brooks at the mouth of the Caribou River, where it drains into Caribou Harbour. Settlement begun around 1806 by Donald McLeod, Neil, Roderick, Kenneth and Alexander McKenzie who came from Scotland. Waterside Beach Provincial Park, provides protection to salt marsh natural habitat, and boardwalk access to a beautiful long sandy beach.
