Rogers Hill
Rogers Hill is a rural community located south of Scotsburn Road, north of Durham Hill. The current geography of the community is much smaller then the original settled area known as Rogers Hill was. It was named after the John Rogers and the Rogers family who immigrated to the area around 1822. John was one of the settlers who arrived to the area from Philadelphia in 1767 aboard a small brig “Hope”. They liked the idea of being situated on a small summit and the land here was rich with fine clay close to the blazed path to Truro.
