Located along the northern shore of Pictou Island at the end of Factory Road, North Beach is a beautiful sandy beach with views of Prince Edward Island (on clear days), and was where many of the old canning factories were located on the island.
Pictou Island is an island community located in the Northumberland Strait about 7.5 km north east of Caribou Harbour. The island is mainly wooded, with several clearings, and contains a small population spread across the island.
