Millbrook - Pictou County

Millbrook

Millbrook is a rural community located south of the Trans-Canada Highway, west of Rocklin. Originally, some of the early settlers visited the area, and trapped a large bear, they then named the place Bear Brook. Donald McKenzie built a mill sometime between 1803 and 1809 which prompted the renaming of Bear Brook to Millbrook.
