Skinners Cove is a small body of water located between Forbes Point and Johnsons Point in the community of Melville . A wharf, a boat launch, and a sandy beach are located here.

Campbells Brook
There are two Campbells Brook located in Pictou County. One is located along the Northumberland Strait, it originates in the community of Hedgeville, then flows north into the community of Seafoam and empties into MacDonalds Cove. The other Campbells Brook, is the south east corner of the county, it originates in the community of Laggan and then flows south through several communities before eventually flowing into East River St. Mary’s.

MacDonalds Cove is located along the Northumberland Strait between Hornes Point and McAulays Reef in the community of Seafoam.
Johnsons Point
There are two Johnsons Points located in Pictou County, both along the Northumberland Strait, one in the community of Melville and the other in the community of Toney River.
