Gairloch Lake is a small, freshwater lake located south of Gairloch Lake Road. It’s known for its scenic, rural setting and is a popular destination for anglers, it is stocked annually with both brook and rainbow trout.

New Gairloch
New Gairloch is located between the southern end of the West and Middle Rivers of Pictou. It was named after Gairloch, Inverness-shire, Scotland. The abundant resource of timber in the Canadian Maritimes attracted many settlement throughout the 19th century.
