Baileys Brook
Baileys Brook is a rural community located south of the Ponds. The area was once referred to as Upper Bailey’s Brook named after John Baillie, a disbanded soldier from the 82nd Regiment, who settled at the mouth of Bailey’s Brook about 1788.
It is also the name of a brook that flows from the community of Baileys Brook north through the community of Lismore into the Northumberland Strait.
