Sundridge - Pictou County

Sundridge is a rural community located on the River John road between Poplar Hill and Pictou. It was originally considered to be part of Scotch Hill until sometime between 1878 and 1880 when a Post Office was established here.

It was named after Sundridge, England. Lauchlin McQuarrie and John McMillan received grants of land here in 1815. McQuarrie was settled here before 1806 and McMillan was a resident by 1809.
