About Plymouth Park
Plymouth Park is a locality within the community of Plymouth located just south of Stellarton along the East River.
The communities we know as Riverton and Plymouth was Originally one area and it was known as “Fish Pools” because of how splendid the trout fishing in the deep pools of the river was. An early name for the area was Irishtown until 1873 when both Irishtown and Churchtown became Plymouth.
Population in 1956 was Plymouth 157
