About Logan Subdivision
Logan Subdivision is a residential neighbourhood located in the Town of Trenton. Situated close to the river, it reflects the mid-20th century expansion of the towns residential areas. As the steel works and associated industries grew, housing developments like Logan Subdivision provided accommodation for workers and their families.
The name was officially adopted in 2007. and named after A.T. Logan, who was a prominent mayor of Trenton during the years: 1916-1920,1923-1924 1928-1929,1944-1959 1962-1967.
The neighbourhood is laid out in a grid-like street pattern, with extensions such as Ninth Street forming part of its local infrastructure. Its presence illustrates how industrial growth in Trenton shaped not only the riverfront but also the surrounding residential landscape.
