About Charltons Cove
Charltons Cove is a small tidal-influenced cove located on the East River waterway that eventually opens into Pictou Harbour, in the community of Abercrombie.
This area was formerly known as Deacon Cove until a name change in 1976, and on the 187 map, Charltons Cove is labeled as Little Cove. The map also refers to a Big cove adjacent to it, but this area does not currently have an official place name.
