About Carews Lake
Carews Lake is a freshwater lake located in the communities of Woodfield and Broadway. Its location near Germaines Mountain, and McGraths Mountain reflects the upland character of this part of the county, where small lakes and ponds punctuate wooded hills.
The lake was formerly known as Manning’s Lake until 1965 and then Mannings Lake until 1976.
