About Cape John Beach Provincial Park
Cape John Beach Provincial Park is a small unclassified park reserve located along the shores of the Northumberland Strait, near Megs Cove in the community of Cape John .
It operates primarily as a protected land reserve providing scenic coastal views, rather than a developed, full-service day-use provincial park. One species of bird found at this park is listed as critically imperiled; small portion of a significant beach containing some back beach wetland. Beach has potential for piping plover and is used by other shorebirds.
