About Burying Ground Point
Burying Ground Point is located at the mouth of the French River, along the west side, across from French Point. It is referenced as Grave Head on the Crown Land Grant map.
FindaGrave.com indicates that there is a historic cemetery (Burial Point Cemetery) located here with photos of about 21 tombstones. Note: there is no easy access to this area, and it is located on private property.
