Boot Lake, Nova Scotia
Boot Lake is located east of John Miller Lake. Like many lakes in Pictou County, Boot Lake occupies a basin carved by glacial activity during the last Ice Age. These inland lakes are typically bounded by shallow rock or gravel sills and are fed by local streams and brooks.
