About Beaver Mountain Provincial Park
Beaver Mountain Provincial Park is small picnic park with trails and protected areas located just off Highway 104 in the Indian Lake area and spreads across 2 counties (Pictou and Antigonish Counties).
A large area of the park remains undeveloped and contributes to regional biodiversity with at least one species of vascular plant and one species of invertebrate within the park having been identified as vulnerable to extirpation or extinction. Ecological restoration of Spruce damaged by Bark Beetle is underway to allow younger hardwood and softwood to grow.
