About Bayview
Bayview is located south of Caribou, and north east of the Town of Pictou, near the communities of Braeshore and Central Caribou. In 1891 the Federal Government built a lobster hatchery here.
A new school-house near the road leading to “Pictou Lodge” was opened in 1949.
Population in 1956 was 193.
